Hip Horns Brass Collective live in Barcelona

A New Kind of Brass Energy

Coming straight from the vibrant streets of Barcelona, Hip Horns Brass Collective is a brass band that fuses New Orleans jazz, hip hop, and groove with an electrifying stage presence.

What makes them truly unique is their foundation. The collective is formed by three generations of musicians from the jazz and contemporary music scenes—artists who have shared the stage and studio with global stars like C. Tangana, Nathy Peluso, Amaia, and Catrile & Paco Amoroso.

"The band blends the energy of traditional brass bands with modern styles like funk, boombap, bounce, and afrobeat, creating a unique sound within today’s Afro-American music, marked by a strong Mediterranean accent."

From "KREWE" to the World Stage

Their debut album, KREWE (2024), marked a turning point in their career, pushing the boundaries of the genre with influences from gospel, funk, and Latin music.

You can feel that evolution in their music. Check out their latest sounds on Spotify.

International Milestones

Since their debut, HHBC has performed at renowned festivals across Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, and the UK—including MIDEM (Cannes) and La Mercè. 2025 was a milestone year for their international growth, but 2026 is looking even bigger. This year, the collective is crossing the Atlantic to perform at the prestigious Folk Alliance Festival in New Orleans followed by a massive tour through Mexico.

Experience the Live Show

Their versatile live format adapts seamlessly to both stage and street settings—exactly the kind of "street energy" that makes Guča the legendary festival it is today.

Looking Ahead: Hip Horns at Guča?

While they are currently touring the Americas and Europe, we are incredibly excited about the possibility of bringing this Mediterranean brass energy to the streets of Lučani.

We truly look forward to hosting Hip Horns Brass Collective at the Guča Trumpet Festival in the coming years. Their innovative sound would be a perfect match for our international stage, and we can already imagine the energy they would bring to our audience.
